One version of the hilt was lost during the duel with Mace Windu in Palpatine's office, but he has another one that he uses shortly after with his duel against Yoda. The saber used in the battle with yoda is referred to as V2. This was the stunt version. The top of the saber was black, and the underside a light silver as seen in the Brazil Exhibition.
